Role Overview
The Math Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and improving mathematics content across textbooks, workbooks, assessments, and digital materials. The ideal candidate combines strong mathematical expertise with exceptional language and editorial skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread mathematics manuscripts for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and style.
- Verify mathematical solutions, formulas, equations, graphs, and diagrams.
- Collaborate with authors, subject matter experts, designers, and production teams.
- Ensure content aligns with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Maintain editorial guidelines, style sheets, and quality benchmarks.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in editing academic or educational content (publishing experience preferred).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with curriculum standards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, IB, Common Core, etc. — adjust as needed).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs, and basic typesetting or markup tools.
